Jade advises domestic and international clients across a large spectrum of transactional matters. She represents ultra-high net worth individuals, multi-jurisdictional families, family offices, multinational companies and shareholders on various corporate matters, including governance, acquisitions and dispositions of assets, investments in private funds and private business ventures.
Jade is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is fluent in English and Portuguese and conversational in Spanish. She enjoys using her bi-cultural background to work with clients in their native language whenever possible. Prior to joining the Loeb Block team, Jade was an attorney at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where she focused on M&A transactions, corporate governance matters and private fund formations. Jade also served as a private equity legal secondee at Apollo Global Management.
Jade received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2019, where she served as the Executive Editor for The Environmental Law and Policy Annual Review and the President of the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Council. Prior to law school, she received a B.S. and a B.J., from the University of Texas at Austin.
